Spam / Malware
Malware is an abbreviated term used to describe various “malicious software” programs that seek to access and monitor private information stored on your computer. These malicious programs include keyloggers, Trojan horses, worms, and viruses.
A keylogger logs every keystroke you make and then sends that information, including passwords, bank account numbers, and credit card numbers, to an unauthorized third party user. Keyloggers are often used to carry out crimes of identity theft.
A virus may render your system inoperable and many types of malware use your local PC to send out spam or to accomplish other activities without your permission. These infections use up essential system resources and often lead to computer lock-ups and crashes. Viruses and worms commonly use shared files and information to spread to other computers.
PTA uses anti-spam, anti-malware and ant-virus programs to help diminish the possibility of an infection. We also use Watchguard firewalls configured to help protect your system from these attacks using an in depth IT security strategy that focuses on protecting your company’s critical IT data and resources.
PTA Uses:
